Some news for you LOTR collectors

Atleast it might be news to those that don't troll the LOTR sites.

It seems the LOTR Epic Trilogy sets slated for later this year are nothing more than the packings we see on the pegs now, but with a sticker that says "Epic Trology Collection"


For me - that is good news as it is going to be the same figures and packaging as we have seen from the ROTK packaging, and can skip it all!

For the every MOC version collectors - that sucks as it will basically be rebuying everything!

Wow, they just added a sticker, and that's it? Well maybe it'll also be good for getting a chance at figures we've missed the first time around.

for me it is even nicer of a situation as the only ones I am missing are the ones to come out (that I have preordered) and the PJ Hobbit, whcih if they hold true to form as they have in the past with the LOTR figures - it will be packed in with something down the line

Would be - but they haven't released the Easterling in the Trilogy packaging [img]frown.gif[/img]

Although - Mr. KK helped him out and I think he has what he needs [img]smile.gif[/img]

Actually, this is good news as far as I'm concerned. It means one less line that I have to worry about after Series 5. IF any new figures come out, I'll pick them up. But I won't get the 'sticker' line, lol.

As for the Easterling, www.theoutereaches.com is selling full cases of Easterlings (12 per case) on their site. They'll also be selling full cases (case of 3) of the Roto Attack Troll in the near future.
